Terms of service

Effective 7 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between Rovaa ("we", "us") and the business that signs up for Rovaa ("you"). They cover getrovaa.com, the Rovaa dashboard, and the Rovaa Operator and Rovaa Rider apps (together, "Rovaa"). By creating an account or using Rovaa, you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are allowed to agree on its behalf.

Important terms to read first

Section 10 limits our liability to you, and section 11 asks you to cover certain losses we suffer because of how you use Rovaa. Please read both before you sign up.

1. What Rovaa is

Rovaa is software that helps delivery businesses record deliveries, manage riders, vehicles and customers, and see what each delivery earns and costs.

Rovaa is not a delivery company. We do not:

  • employ, hire or manage your riders;
  • carry, insure or take responsibility for any item you deliver;
  • hold, collect or pay out money. Payouts and remittance totals in Rovaa are figures worked out from what you record; you pay your riders and settle with your customers yourself.

2. Who can use Rovaa

You must be at least 18 and running a business. Rovaa is offered to businesses in Nigeria.

3. Your account and your team

  • Keep your sign-in details secret and the information in your account accurate.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by the managers, staff and riders you invite.
  • Remove people from your business in Rovaa when they should no longer have access.
  • Tell us at [email protected] straight away if you think someone has got into your account.

4. Free trial and plans

  • New businesses get a 14-day free trial. You do not need a card to start it.
  • Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. A plan sets how many riders you can manage.
  • When the trial ends without a plan, you can still see your existing records but cannot add new ones until you choose a plan.
  • We will tell you how payment, renewal and cancellation work, and give you notice, before we charge you anything. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of a plan you are on.

5. Your data

  • The records you put into Rovaa belong to you. You give us permission to store and use them only to run Rovaa for you, as described in our privacy policy.
  • When you add details about your customers, delivery recipients and riders, you are responsible for having a lawful reason to do so under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and for telling them how their data is used.
  • Tell your riders that the Rider app records their phone's location when they start, pick up and complete a delivery. If you connect GPS trackers to your vehicles, tell the people who drive them.
  • Tracking, invoice and statement links can be opened by anyone who has them. Send them only to the right people.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Rovaa to:

  • break any law or arrange the delivery of illegal or prohibited items;
  • send spam or messages people have not agreed to receive;
  • add data about people without a lawful reason;
  • try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or test, scan or disrupt our systems;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer Rovaa, or build a competing product from it;
  • upload viruses or harmful code.

7. Services from others

Rovaa uses outside services such as WhatsApp, SMS providers and Google Maps to send messages, show maps and work out distances. We are not responsible when those services are slow, unavailable or deliver a message late.

8. Changes to Rovaa

We improve Rovaa all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important you rely on, we will tell you in advance. We aim to keep Rovaa available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, including for maintenance.

9. Our property

Rovaa, its software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use Rovaa for your business while your account is open; they do not transfer any ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

10. Limits on our liability

  • Rovaa is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free. Check important figures before relying on them.
  • We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or indirect losses.
  • We are not responsible for the deliveries you make, the items you carry, your riders' conduct, or money owed between you, your riders and your customers.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Rovaa in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud or for death or injury caused by our negligence.

11. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of the data you put into Rovaa, the messages you send through it, your deliveries, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we suffer as a result.

12. Suspension and closing your account

  • You can stop using Rovaa and delete your account at any time from the Operator app or at getrovaa.com/delete-account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that the law requires us to act on. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.
  • If we decide to stop offering Rovaa altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can get your records out.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using Rovaa after that, the new terms apply.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute comes up, contact us first and we will try to resolve it with you. If we cannot, the courts of Anambra State, Nigeria, will decide it.
